Before "Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown," I was just "Bo-Bo The Clown." I Started Clowning in 1992, my Freshman year in High school. I was called by the City of Bakersfield to do "First Night Bakersfield," a New Years Eve event for the people of Bakersfield. 1999 going into 2000, I knew that this was the time I needed to make a name for myself. I changed my look completely. My costumes have always been custom made for me. I design the suit and the seamstress brings it alive. I changed my suit to a sequins outfit. The night of "First Night Bakersfield," December 31, 1999 was a hit we landed on T.V. 17. and The Bakersfield Californian the next morning. The next morning I was awakened up by my little sister Idica The Clown, she was yelling to me Bo-Bo your in the news paper. I looked at The Bakersfield Californian January 01, 2000 edition. They had made a special Millennium Edition Front page and Bo-Bo was there. 2001, I was asked to be the spokes clown for "First Night Bakersfield" with T.V. and Radio ads. The rest is history. I, Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown, would like to Thank all of my loyal fans and customers for making me who I am today. I would also like to Thank my family for giving me the courage and support I need to continue to entertain. I thank God every day for giving me the talents and heart to do what I do. Lord Thank you for blessing me.
I was voted "Best Children's Entertainer" by The Mom Choice Awards in 2007, throughout Kern County. In October of 2009, The Bakersfield Magazine released an issue of "Bakersfield's Coolest and Grooviest People" and Bo-Bo made the list. Thank you Bakersfield Magazine for voting me one of "Bakersfield's Coolest and Grooviest People." Thank you and I look forward to making people laugh and smile while god permits.
